Is SMARTY any good?

SMARTY is a sensible choice for people who want plenty of data without a long contract. Plans include unlimited UK calls and texts unless clearly sold as data-only. 5G, Wi-Fi calling and eSIM support are available on compatible devices.

The main question is coverage. SMARTY uses the Three network, so ask someone on Three or SMARTY how it performs inside your home. A cheap plan is frustrating if calls or data struggle where you need them.

Check your current phone’s data-use screen before switching. Light users should not pay for unlimited data, while regular tethering or video can need a larger allowance.

SMARTY questions

When will my gift card arrive?
You qualify after the second consecutive renewal. SMARTY says its reward partner then emails both people, normally no later than 30 days after eligibility.
Can I leave after receiving the reward?
SMARTY plans renew every 30 days and can be cancelled without a long-term contract. Do not cancel before completing the referral conditions if you want the reward.
Can I keep my current mobile number?
Yes. Request a PAC from your old network and give it to SMARTY through the transfer process. Keep the old service active until the number moves.
Does SMARTY have good London coverage?
Coverage varies by street, building and congestion. Three can be fast in many London areas but weaker inside some properties, so use the official coverage checker and test during the first month.
